Come meet author/iIllustrator Alan Silberberg when he visits CTI. Mr. Silberbeg will read from his hilarious kids books, share his journey as an author, and teach a cartooning workshop.

Open to kids of all ages. Free for members, $5/non-members.

Alan is the author and illustrator of 3 picture books MEET THE LATKES, MEET THE MATZAH and MEET THE HAMANTASHEN (Viking/ Penguin Random House).

His middle-grade novel, MILO; STICKY NOTES & BRAIN FREEZE won the SCBWI Sid Fleischman Humor Award.

With a degree in “Cartoon-Communication Education,” Alan has been teaching kids of all ages how to doodle and make cartoons using recognizable shapes, numbers and letters.

He likes chocolate chip cookies.
